After a brief break in comfortable weather on Sunday and Monday, another cyclone is expected to arrive from the south on Tuesday, according to the Komi Center for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring (CHM).
In March 2026, precipitation is expected to be within normal limits (25-41 mm).
The period of abnormally cold weather will end on February 3.
In January 2026, monthly precipitation will be close to the long-term average (normal: 33-44 mm).
The weather remains unstable, the Komi Center for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring reports.
In November, the average monthly temperature is expected to be 1-3°C above the climatic norm (normal: -12-14°C in the extreme northeast, -9-11°C in the northern and central regions, and -6-8°C in the south).
There is a high probability that this October the average monthly air temperature will exceed the climatic norm by 1...2C (the norm is from 2.4C in the extreme southwest to -3.1C in the extreme northeast.
In July 2025, the monthly precipitation amount in most of the Komi territory is expected to be close to the norm, in some places 40-80% more (the norm is 63-77 mm, in the extreme northeast 51-62 mm).
